Barcelona was once again the center of Smart Cities after organizing the 11th edition of the Smart Cities Expo World Congress, which hosted, for the first time, a sector dedicated to Portugal – Smart Portugal – featuring two dozen Portuguese cities and companies.

Vila Nova de Famalicão is among the municipalities that stand out in terms of Smart Cities. They attended the biggest Smart Cities congress in the world, with its own stand, under the motto “Famalicão o seu lugar. Your Place”.
