This will be followed by a meeting on May 18 in Aveiro, where the Prime Minister will meet with representatives from 39 companies (35 from Aveiro, 2 from Coimbra and 2 from Viseu).

The last meeting will take place on May 24, in Sintra, and will include 28 companies (17 from Lisbon, 9 from Leiria, 1 from Santarém and 1 from Setúbal).

At these sessions the Prime Minister [and other government representatives] will hear from the entrepreneurs and highlight the importance of the Portuguese presence at HANNOVER MESSE 2022. Portugal will be represented by 109 companies operating in the areas of Engineering Parts & Solutions, Energy Solutions and Digital Ecosystems, focusing on the equipment and metalworking, mobility, automotive, aeronautics, automation and robotics, textile, technical plastics, moulding, production technologies and renewable energy.

The Portuguese participation in the world’s largest industry fair gathers 109 companies from the Engineering, Energy, Digital and Automation clusters in an effort coordinated by AICEP and co-organised with AIMMAP and AHK to present Portuguese industry to the German Mittelstand and the international buyers present at the event.
